Toddler Times
Well dear friends, the time has come for me to leave Toddler Times now that BooBoo is such a big boy! Wahhhhh!
No, I swear I’m not crying. I, um, just got a little something in my eye is all.
The good news is this isn’t really goodbye; I’ll still be blogging here on Babble, only now you can find me at Kid Scoop! Best part is, I’ll have twice the material as I air the dirty laundry of both of those small people who like to call me mom.
I don’t want get all sappy but I just want y’all to know how much I have enjoyed my time here, sharing the craziness of toddlerhood with all of you. Your comments, ideas and suggestions have not only made me feel like you “got” me, but that we were friends. Aww!

Hello, my name is Bo or at least that’s what my parental units call me.
What began as Bo-Bo has evolved to Bo and I couldn’t tell you what it means or why. I don’t even think my parents know why and yet the name has managed to transcend my childhood and elements of time and space. At 35 years old, I think it’s safe to bet that Bo is here to stay.
Nicknames are personal little terms of endearment we bestow on our kiddies and lovies that say, “Hey, what we’ve got here is a bond so special that I can pretty much call you whatever I feel like.” I have about a million silly little nicknames for my kids, some are ridiculous nonsensical variations of their birth names and others just spill out of my mouth as a colorful potpourri of vowels and consonants. The nicknames that get the most play in my household include, but are not limited to: Sugar Plum, Booshie and Bubs. I don’t get excited about a lot of things. Clearance racks, yard sales, good hair days and unexpected surprises in my mailbox are pretty much all the excitement I can handle.
But then I discovered the PNP Portable North Pole.
OH. MY. WOW! Now this is something to get excited about!
No he/she didn’t!
Oh yes, he/she most certainly did.
You know you’ve been there. Left scratching your head, mouth agape, stunned by the audacity of some people…some stupid people.
I asked around the Internets and compiled a list of the worst spoken offenses:
Everyone has an opinion about Michelle Duggar and her ever-inhabited womb. Personally, I’m too selfish to spend much time thinking about the shoulds or should nots of her reproductive system. I’ve got like Real Housewives reruns to catch up on and stuff.
What I do think about (as a woman who has reproduced two adorable spawn) is how my body would never tolerate such hard work. My body’s lazy like that.

When it comes to Christmas, what’s another snowy white lie? I mean, really.
Between Thanksgiving and Christmas I rely on the magic of Santa to curb tantrums and minimize undesirable behavior. During this period it’s Santa who’s calling the shots and demanding good behavior; not me.
To aid Santa in his warning to be good for goodness sake, I rely on the innocent device you see to your left.
