Earlier this month, Coupons.org released an infographic on The Coupon Comeback, featuring research on how much American’s saved with coupons, who is using coupons, and many other fascinating details. Well, fascinating to a frugal geek like this girl.
I love to see that I’m in good company — couponing isn’t just for frugalistas anymore. Today’s coupon users are young, affluent, and tech-savvy. Households with six-figure incomes are 2 times more likely to use coupons than those earning under $35,000.
Just how young are modern couponers? Teen coupon use is on the rise — 60% of teens ages 13 to 17 use coupons. And, here I thought it was my frugal influence that had my teen collecting coupons for her favorite stores!
