Mustaches put a big smile on my face – they are so kitschy, and there is nothing funnier than a serious project with a big mustache on it.  Party planners have been using the mustache photo booth trick for a few years, and since that time mustaches have expanded into pretty much every arena including the DIY world.  I’ve found 15 mustache projects that impress me and then added in one that I did not so very long ago.  I even incorporated glitter.  Adding glitter with mustaches takes something wacky and takes it that much further.  And that’s completely how I roll.  See some great mustache projects that you can make after the jump.

Do mustaches make you a hipster parent? Even if they do, we still love ‘em!

I love mustaches!!! I make knitted ones for my family and friends. I have also made a mustache shirt for my son and my friends son! We have mustaches on a stick in our pen holder at home too!!! I really want to make the mustache mobile!!! That is a great idea!

I have the best picture of myself wearing a pipe cleaner ‘stache outside the Salvador Dali museum.
