Wine Cork Fine Art
Thinking of making a bulletin board or trivet out of those wine corks you’ve been collecting? How about an art piece for your wine bar or kitchen that will be the topic of conversation every time you open a bottle of wine for your guests instead…..
My daughter Boo and I spent this past weekend watching movies and gluing wine corks to a skeleton of newspaper and wire hangers…..all items we had readily available. I asked Boo what she wanted to make and she immediately said “giraffe” so that’s what we ended up with. It’s a great piece for the bar area in our house….part of me secretly wishes we’d made a life size giraffe…we could make it a local tourist trap and charge for admission.

Michele Dickey commented on Aug 05 11 at 12:09 pmI LOVE this project! I get wine corkscrew from my neighbor, but I think she’s slowed down on the wine, I havnt been getting very many lately! Lol. I wonder if a wine bar would keep them for me? I love the corkscrew but don’t drink wine.
