Sky Metalwala

Last Sunday, 2-year-old Sky Metalwala went missing. The boy’s mother Julia Biryukova made the claim that she left her son in the car unintended while she and her 4-year-old daughter walked a mile to get gasoline after their car ran out of fuel. She said that when they returned to the car her 2-year-old son was no where to be seen.

But since the boy went missing there has been some disturbing new evidence that is causing Sky’s mother Julia to be a person of interest.

First, the boys father, Solomon Metalwala, believes his ex is involved in the boys disappearance. He told ABC News, “I do believe that Julia has a, she’s responsible …It’s sad. Because if she can just cooperate, we can find where, where is our son.”  He added that Julia had told him about an eerie dream saying. “In this dream she, she was strangling Sky. And it was very alarming.”

Then the Associated Press on Friday morning reported that after a test with Julia’s car they found that the car did not run out of gas and that there was no mechanical motive that would lead her to think that the car was out of fuel. They have also found out that Julia never went to the gas station at all — instead she walked around a nearby neighborhood.

But the oddest part of the tale? Apparently this story is a whole lot like an episode of the popular TV crime drama Law and Order. Continue reading »

Running out of gas is never convenient. And if you happen to have two little kids with you, it just makes matters more complicated. For one mom from Bellevue, Washington, on Sunday morning things went from just a hassle to horrible when the car she was driving with her two- and four-year-old kids ran out of gas. The nearest gas station was about a mile away, and the mom reportedly took her four-year-old daughter on the trek while leaving her two-year-old son buckled into his car seat alone. The car was apparently left unlocked. But when she returned, her son — Sky Metalwala — was nowhere to be seen.
