Guns have no place in schools. I think that most of us can agree on that. Whether carried by staff or students, the likelihood of a tragic outcome is, I believe, fairly high. Even if the weapon is never fired, its presence alone is enough alter the atmosphere and have a negative impact on the ability of students to learn. And so we have zero-tolerance policies in place at schools across the country. But how “zero” should they be?
Getting our kids to wear their seatbelts shouldn’t be that hard. After all, in most states, they’re hooked into an extra safety device (carseat, booster seat, etc.) for some eight years.

Who in their right mind does not love Spinal Tap? I can not think of a single person who is not a fan. But there is one company that apparently isn’t. Lego.
Another month, another “holiday.” The goods news? You don’t have to hit Hallmark to celebrate National Inventors’ Month. Just tell your kids to pull out their LEGOs and get building.
