Guns have no place in schools. I think that most of us can agree on that. Whether carried by staff or students, the likelihood of a tragic outcome is, I believe, fairly high. Even if the weapon is never fired, its presence alone is enough alter the atmosphere and have a negative impact on the ability of students to learn. And so we have zero-tolerance policies in place at schools across the country. But how “zero” should they be?

Getting our kids to wear their seatbelts shouldn’t be that hard. After all, in most states, they’re hooked into an extra safety device (carseat, booster seat, etc.) for some eight years.
But explaining to a toddler why they can’t reach over and undo that button is like explaining to them why they can’t touch your butt over and over and over simply because it’s there. So how about hitting them where it hurts?

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again — thank goodness for people with time on their hands.
My latest reason for making that statement is “Wu-Tang Lego: Da Mystery of Chessboxin’”. Because I like Legos. And I like the Wu Tang Clan. Someone must agree with me, because they put the two together.
