Morning News - Transformers Movie Still On Top
I will talk about the weekend box office, and also Sarah Palin’s weekend announcement. (Nothing about Al Franken today. Maybe tomorrow.) But first a couple of other items.
First, breaking news: the AP is reporting that Robert McNamara has died. McNamara was Secretary of Defense during the Vietnam War. He was 93.
A little early controversy surrounding the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver. No, they didn’t remove curling from the list of events. The B.C. Civil Liberties Association is concerned about free speech being stifled while the games are in town. Nothing has happened yet, so there’s time to fix whatever the problem is. If there is one.
