Jimmy Kimmel is Mean
Jimmy Kimmel is mean. Seriously. What does he have against children?
The late-night host put a call out to parents to let their kids open one present a couple weeks early. But he instructed them to make sure it isn’t a “good present,” and to “make it something they don’t want.” He then asked them to tape their child’s response and share it with the world via YouTube.
And parents? They did his bidding and totally pranked their unsuspecting kids with hilarious (and heartbreaking) reactions. As Jimmy said — “a lot of the kids reacted poorly.” And we’re taking BAD presents. Like an old banana, a half full bottle of juice, a battery, and an onion. One boy started to cry when he received a “girl activity book with stickers.” And another has a full-blown tantrum when he is given a Hello Kitty shirt, screaming, “You stupid parents…I hate you!”
One adorable little girl took the disappointment in a much more mature way after being given a half eaten peanut butter and jelly sandwich saying, “I appreciate her getting us a present, but I didn’t know it would be like that. “

A wonderfully evil Halloween prank.
Late night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel issued a YouTube challenge to parents across America and they took him up on it.
Record yourselves telling your children you ate all their Halloween candy. Upload the video to YouTube with the heading, “Hey Jimmy Kimmel I Told My Kids I Ate All Their Halloween Candy!”
Parents did it and they did it well. Not only do the kids’ uber dramatic reactions make me giggle, but the serious glee that parents seem to take in informing their kids of the worst possible outcome for their Halloween family is hilarious. As Jimmy Kimmel says, “he thought the kids would be mad, but he didn’t expect so much crying.”
My favorite is the dad that went the extra mile and sprinkled empty candy wrappers all across the dining room table.

Do kids these days really know the value of friendship? After all, sharing details of one’s life is as quick as the click of a mouse. Breaking off contact, at least over broadband, is just that simple too. Log on, click. You’re no longer BFFs.
Is that really how kids think these days? Jimmy Kimmel, who is not one of this decade’s foremost social commentarians, believes so. He has declared today, Nov. 17, National Unfriend Day.
The ponderous comedian with the so-so ratings thinks people spend far too much time on Facebook, collecting friends like Beanie Babies, and that we’re not only wasting our time but watering down the meaning of human connection. (I just made that last part up. He hasn’t said much in terms of human connection other than declaring it impossible to have 500 friends.) Continue reading »
A while ago, the federal government reached out to the crew at Sesame Street to help educate the kids about healthy habits to help fight the swine flu. The series of four PSAs - featuring Elmo- instruct children on the importance of washing hands and sneezing and coughing into your arm rather than your hand. Will Arnett is known to millions as George “Gob” Bluth II on the dearly departed series “Arrested Development.” My kids know him as Max The Magician on Sesame Street.
What I didn’t know is that Mr. Arnett does a lot of traditional voice-over work. Not just cartoons, like the new “G-Force”, but car commercials and stuff.
