A grandmother in her early twenties!
The average women in the U.S. give birth for the first time is around 25 years old. The worldwide average is a less than that. But still. News of the world’s youngest reported grandmother has got to be shocking for just about any culture.
A Romanian Roma mother, Ridca Stanescu, took the “world’s youngest grandmother” title from an unnamed British woman, who, at 26 years old, became a grandmother after her 11-year-old daughter had a baby. Continue reading »
