Sextuplets Take New York on TLC
Sextuplets Take New York, TLC’s new reality series, is bound to draw comparisons to that other famous sextuplet family. But Victor and Digna Carpio are no Jon and Kate. And that’s a good thing.
The show, which premiered last night, takes a look at the daily lives of the Carpios and their seven children: 22-month-old sextuplets (four boys and 2 girls) and 9-year-old son, Jhancarlos.
From their small home in Queens, New York, Victor and Digna face many of the same challenges the Gosselins did – not enough space, money, time, etc. – but meet that challenge in a much kinder and gentler way. Continue reading »
Under scrutiny from lawmakers over child labor issues, “Kate Plus 8″ may lose six of its cast members — Jon and Kate Gosselin’s six-year-old sextuplets, according to The Associated Press.
Pennsylvania state law allows children under the age of 7 to work in film, but not on television shows such as TLC’s “Kate Plus 8.,” according to Philadelphia lawmaker Rep. Thomas Murt (R-Pa.).
In other words, Aaden, Alexis, Collin, Hannah, Joel and Leah — who turned 6 in May — would not be allowed to participate in the show. Continue reading »

The drama being played out for the viewing public on Jon and Kate Plus 8 has just had a bizarre confluence with another oddity of the celebrity parenting sideshow. In speaking with Radar Online, the Octomom, Nadya Suleman, admitted that she thinks Jon Gosselin is hot and that she has a bit of a crush on him. Given his divorce from Kate, Jon is actually available, pending any break-ups with the bimbo of the week.

It’s a battle of the super-breeders! The LA Times is reporting that Nadya Suleman (aka: Octomom) wants Kate Gosselin, star of TLC’s “Jon & Kate + 8,” to stop judging her.
Suleman’s comments come after a recent episode of “Dr. Phil.” Gosselin, the mother of five-year-old sextuplets and two older children, said that Suleman would have a difficult time raising her 14 children without a husband or money. She was responding to a question about Suleman’s situation.
