Namaste and stuff.
I need to admit something. I’m an awkward Etsy person. Whew. I’m glad that’s out there. I’m not one of those cool Etsy people who are artistic and fancy. I’m pretty much the opposite of that.
Etsy is a website (for those of you who don’t know) where artists, designers and crafters can sell their stuff. Fine art, jewelry, clothes, bags, stuff for kids, furniture — pretty much everything awesome that you can think of.
There are many different kinds of people that are into Etsy, so I’m not alone there in my awkwardness. Which is nice for me. But on Etsy, as in real life, there are cool girls. More specifically, there are cool Etsy moms.
And sometimes I see them in real life and they say things to me, maybe trying to see if I’m one of them. But of course I’m not. I’m a dork in stretched-out yoga pants and v-neck tee from Target who just likes looking at pretty things on the internet. I’m not sure if they’re nice or not. Sometimes the things they say seem a little jelly-fishy stingy. This only makes me behave more awkwardly. Continue reading »
Of course this is on Etsy, where else would it have been?! Based on everything I know of Etsy crafters I want to hang with those ladies because they are CRUNKED. They are like the Tony Starks of knitting. Except instead of getting hooched and flying around blasting their repulsers, they slam the purple drank, pick up some needles and do some damage.
Who ever made this is the Andy Warhol of crafting. Check out this latest epic squeezed out of the factory.
