Stork Craft Recalls 2.1 Million Drop-Side Cribs

10046a Stork Craft Recalls 2.1 Million Drop Side CribsRight on the heels of the enormous Maclaren stroller recall, Stork Craft is announcing the largest ever recall of cribs.

The company is asking parents to stop using their Stork Craft drop-side cribs — which are also sold under the brand name Fisher Price — immediately. Parents can order a repair kit that will fix the crib, but while they wait for it they should find an alternative safe sleeping surface for their babies and toddlers.

The repair kit will fix the drop-side, which is easy to mistakenly install upside down and can also wear out or break. Babies can get entrapped in the space and suffocate.

For more information on how to find out if your crib is involved in this recall, visit CSPC’s website.
