As the youngest of three kids, I learned a lot about the ways of the world from my older siblings. My bother was a risk-taker who, among other things, introduced me to the thrill of sneaking out of my bedroom window in the middle of the night. My sister, cautious by nature, urged me to consider the consequences of that very same behavior.

A little kid brought a loaded gun on the school bus, so police have arrested his mother.
The Daily Press says Hampton, VA mom Jasmin Imani Aldridge has been charged with felony child neglect in the incident – it was her eight-year-old son who took two loaded guns from their home and handed one off to a ten-year-old on the school bus. Continue reading »
