Many — perhaps even most — women wear make-up. Personally, I don’t like it or even approve of it — it’s disgusting and it hides the real person — but if women (or men) wish to wear it, that’s perfectly okay. Hair coloring, colored contacts, and even piercings are more serious, but still acceptable in today’s society. Even plastic surgery and Botox is rather ho-hum these days. But does that apply to kids too? Apparently, a British woman who bills herself as the Real Life Barbie thinks so — her daughter has already started using Botox at 16.
Move over placenta loaf. Bye bye placenta pill. The new way to remain ultra close with the sac your baby lived off is by smearing it on your face!

Most of us known theoretically that all of the images we see in magazines are photoshopped. But actually witnessing the reality of photoshopping in action is another thing altogether. This Dove commercial uses time-lapse photography to show an average young woman getting transformed into the kind of stunning face we see on billboards, and it could really change the way both girls and boys look at magazines and advertisements. In January, she took to the stage in a black bikini to compete for the Miss America crown. This week, Miss Virginia 2008 Tara Wheeler sat down to shave her hair off to help fight kid’s cancer.
She passed her crown on in June, so Wheeler doesn’t need the locks that will be shorn to hold it up anymore. Instead, she’s turning her head into a walking billboard of sorts for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, a national non-profit which raises money for children’s cancer research and treatment.
