“What do you think about triathlons for three-year-olds?” I asked my husband, an experienced runner.
“What? Ridiculous.”
“Ri-donk-ulous,” my six-year-old agreed. “What’s a triathlon?”

Me? I am a Mac girl, and yes I will pay those ridiculous prices and squeeze all the life I can out of my four-year-old machine. Why? Because the Mac OS is simple, elegant, and easy to just pop open and use. But news that Google plans to offer their own free, open source operating system aimed at netbooks makes me think I could switch over, especially if I could buy a nice cheap machine that actually, you know, works. Of course, Apple could just put out a netbook (think Steve Jobs reads the ‘Derby?)
