Anderson Cooper Drinks the Juice: Honey Boo Boo Child Claims Another Victim (Video)
If you happened to catch Friday’s episode of Anderson, then you already know there are some horrors the eye cannot simply un-see.
Host Anderson Cooper invited a few of the pageant moms and daughters from the always entertaining Toddlers and Tiaras to be guests on his show during which the mothers agreed to participate in a makeover where they were transformed into adult versions of their pint-size princesses.
The pageant moms donned dresses, hair, and make-up identical to those they put on their children during pageants. Included in the guest line-up was none other than Alana “Honey Boo Boo Child” Thompson and her mother June, who, wearing a replica of her daughter’s bright pink bedazzled ensemble, looked hauntingly similar to Mimi from The Drew Carey Show.
Of course, Alana and June couldn’t miss an opportunity to get another television personality to try their infamous Go Go Juice. Anderson along with several audience members try the high sugar concoction and seem ready to leap tall buildings in a single bound.
Check out a few highlights from the show in this video:

Bella_Rose commented on Feb 19 12 at 7:25 pm“Setting her daughter up” no sweetie, she’s walking her down the path, look at that kid, you can tell she’s already obese. I don’t watch this show because I’m not going to support something I disagree with, I’m not a train wreck enthusiast. These people are being made to feel like they are stars… Umm, why? Why do some of you people support this type of shock programing? Then complain about the degradation of t.v shows… this isn’t the Gong show people! Of course if it was, those mom’s would be OUT!
anne commented on Feb 19 12 at 7:34 pmI don’t watch this as well for the same reason I don’t watch Jersey Shore and the Real Trainwreck Housewives. It’s just sooo awful. People think that as long as they are on TV they are already famous. I don’t know what kind of upbringing these people had but I already know what is going to happen to these toddlers when they grow up. It’s sad that instead of looking naturally cute, they look disgusting. I’m sorry but it’s true. Whoever does find them cute that way? So overly made up and unnatural. They look like freaks to me. And it’s sad because their moms are pushing them to be freaks and now they like it.
Ruth commented on Feb 19 12 at 9:02 pmMaybe the point was to make the mothers realize how ridiculous it is!! Im sure even if it was it would be lost on people who do that kind of thing. Just another way for young girls to feel that they are nothing without makeup and attention. Sad
Linda, T.O.O. commented on Feb 19 12 at 9:28 pmI’ve never watched the show and diagree with the pageant scene, in general. In spite of all that, this clip did make me like the mom a bit more.
Alicia commented on Feb 20 12 at 1:22 amUgh, that mom is a freak! And she’s setting up her daughter to be some tweaked out meth addict! What a disaster!
elendy commented on Feb 21 12 at 7:43 amSo I also think this show and the other reality crap like it are quite disgusting; but sadly, it also seems to be more and more the general direction our culture is taking.
The other day, out of exhaustion – and lack of kidstuff on PBS – I actually let my older girls watch a live-action show on Disney Channel. I don’t know what it was, but it was so creepy and weird – I swear there was a 5-year old on there that looked (and even had the mannerisms and outfit!) of a 35-year old! And this was just supposed to be a ‘normal’ kid on this show!
It took me a few minutes to pick my jaw up off the floor after seeing that one – shudder.
I swear it’s just back to Word Girl and Electric Company for my 9-year old!
