10 Books That Should Have Been on the 100 Greatest Books for Kids List But Weren’t
Scholastic Parent & Child magazine just came out with their list the “100 Greatest Books for Kids.” It’s a list that includes books for the under 3 set from Pat the Bunny to Corduroy to top titles in young adult fiction like The Hunger Games and Are You There God? It’s Me Margaret. The top five included Charlotte’s Web, Goodnight Moon, A Wrinkle In Time, The Snowy Day and Where the Wild Things Are. But while we perused the entire list of 100 we noticed that some of our personal favorites didn’t make the list and a couple of them, well they seemed like pretty big omissions.
Here are ten children’s books we love that should have made the list:
