Soldier Surprises 6-year-old Daughter on Her Birthday (Video)
Get your tissues handy… this made me bawl like a baby.
Watch as a soldier surprises his 6 year old daughter on her birthday, with a special homecoming surprise in her classroom.
Little Bailey Page was in her Salt Lake City elementary school, showing off a poster of things about herself, when her teacher asked about a picture of her dad.
As she began to answer, the teacher pointed toward the door – and in walked Bailey’s dad, returning home from Afghanistan early to be there for her birthday!
Sergeant Page was not expected to be home for her birthday, so his arrival was pretty unexpected.
Bailey looks like she never wants to let go of dad, jumping into his arms and asking, “How did you make it? How did you make it?”
The sweetest moment is when Bailey says, “That’s my only birthday present that I wanted, that’s you.”
An adorable reunion, for sure.
Sgt Page, who has served in the Army for seven years, has been redeployed to Utah, reports website KSL.com.
