12 Awesome Star Wars YouTube Videos Your Kids Will Go Nuts For

I have a little boy that is completely obsessed with Star Wars. Up until a couple of years ago, I was sort of ambivalent about it all. I surprised myself when I discovered that, at the advanced age of 39, I love it too. Before I knew it had even happened, Star Wars had begun to permeate our lives. I now find myself quoting Yoda and correcting people when they think Mace Windu’s light saber is blue. It’s purple.
So when I saw the newest teaser for VW’s upcoming Star Wars-themed Super Bowl ad – I immediately fell in love and showed it to my son. He loved it and demanded I show it to his sisters. They loved it and we decided to add it to our Star Wars playlist on YouTube. Yes, we have a playlist on YouTube on my iPad and it’s nothing but Star Wars videos and the whole family digs it.
If you’re already a Star Wars junkie, have fun seeing these clips again. And if you’re not, try showing these videos to your kids and just see if they don’t want to watch them a million times. Star Wars is a slippery slope, my friends. In a year, you’ll be spouting Jedi maxims and saying things to your kids like: “I’m not asking you to denounce the Rebel Alliance, ok? Just flush the potty.”
