Animatronic baby video: cool or creepy?
Watch this creepy animatronic baby and sound off – do you think it’s too cool, or does it totally eek you out?
I have to admit, it freaked me out just a little bit.
The movements are pretty uncanny… but a skinless robot baby? Eek.
Anyone else feel like this little guy could use some mama robot hugging?
Chris Clarke designed the special effects animatronic baby for a UK soap opera because a real premature baby can’t be under the lights in a TV studio for the hours required for filming.
Clarke also did special effects for the movie War Horse.
Of course, I have to wonder if it would look creepier once it takes on a more human form with “skin.”
