8 Year Old Rocker Juliet Sings “My First Hardcore Song” (Video)
This girl rocks.
Watch 8-year-old rocker Juliet from Australia in her first music video for the song, “My First Hardcore Song.”
Too cool, right?
My daughter just turned 9 and I can’t imagine her rocking out like this.
Kristina Childs posted the YouTube video of her daughter Juliet and it took off like a shot, joining the ranks of other viral kid video sensations.
Childs tells the Daily News, “Within an hour of posting the song, I just started getting thousands of emails. I was like what is all this?”
Juliet recorded the song for fun with record producer Rob Sharpe, a friend of the family. The video was made for her family, but as these things go, it blew up on YouTube.
Imagine their surprise when the video became such a hit. Sharpe converted the track for sale on iTunes after the family received so many requests.
Mom takes partial responsibility for Juliet’s rocker ways, sharing: “When she was a baby, she wouldn’t go to sleep unless we would play Marilyn Manson or Slipknot, so it’s probably programmed somewhere in her brain.”
Video description: “8 yr old Juliet teamed up with the hottest producer ROB SHARPE this school holidays and smashed out this BRUTAL track.. Juliet takes you on a journey of her love for her dog, Robert and how her pet fish stink even tho Juliet has zero sense of smell. The Australian Hardcore scene will never be the same!!”
