Beyonce Gives Birth! Fun Facts About What Went Down in the Delivery Room
Beyonce gave birth to her first daughter January 8, 2012.
The child dubbed by my pal Jeffrey Joseph as “Destiny’s grandchild” has been born! Early Sunday morning Beyonce and Jay-Z welcomed their daughter Ivy Blue Carter to the world. (Or is it Blue Ivy? No one seems quite sure.) No doubt the power couple are thrilled at the arrival of their first child, as is Beyonce’s close-knit family, I’m sure.
In the coming days, millions of dollars will be paid for the child’s first photo, but if you’re looking to get a jump on the deets about what went down in the labor and delivery unit of New York’s Lenox Hill hospital, I’ve got ‘em. The couple rented the entire fourth floor for 1.3 million dollars so as to preserve their privacy, but I was able to pose as a nurse’s aid, get in and get the scoop. Check it:
