Judy is a Punk: Cute Kingergarten Class Belts Out Ramones Classic (Video)
There is seriously nothing cuter than a slew of little kids singing a punk classic. And this example of children embracing an old school punk anthem is epically awesome. Really.
Here the Sullivan School kindergarten classes come together to pay tribute to Joey, Johnny, and Dee Dee with their own rendition of “Judy is a Punk” The Ramones classic circa 1975.
These kids probably have no point of context for the Ramones, but they seem to enjoy every second of just belting out the song at the top of their lungs. And the pogo-ing just adds to the cuteness. But I must say I’m glad they picked “Judy is a Punk” rather than “Beat on the Brat”, “Now I Wanna Sniff Some Glue” or “53rd & 3rd ” (based on Dee Dee’s memories of being a male hustler).
