Crying Baby Soothed by Notorious B.I.G. “Hypnotize” (Video)
We all have our tricks for soothing a crying baby – but how about the Notorious B.I.G. as baby pacifier?
Biggie’s got the beat and the rhymes to calm even the most ripping baby cry!
The use of music to calm a baby who seems beyond soothing is a tool that many parents use (check out Taylor Swift’s calming baby trick in this video), but do you have a child who’s placated by rap music?
My son used to love James Brown, but it wasn’t the music of choice to soothe his cries as an infant. He was more content when mom or dad would sing.
Biggie seems an odd choice (of course, this dog calming a crying baby may be stranger), but in a parent conducted experiment of sorts, we see a crying baby, the implementation of Notorious B.I.G.’s “Hypnotize” and subsequent calm baby. Lest you think it was just a coincidence, dad turns off the tune and baby has a freak out again until… you guessed it, Biggie Smalls’ tune is played yet again.
Before the hate comments come in, yes, Biggie isn’t exactly “kid friendly” on the lyrics, but, as the dad notes, “She can’t understand any of the lyrics yet, so we’re safe.”
Note to daddy – better wean her off of Biggie and onto a something more kid appropriate soon!
