Busy Parent Briefing: Michael Jackson Manslaughter Jury Reaches a Verdict

Fans of the late pop idol finally have some closure on his death as the jury in his manslaughter case reached a verdict on Monday
The trial lasted six weeks, but after less than two days of deliberations, the jury has reached a verdict.
Dr. Conrad Murray was accused of involuntary manslaughter in the death of pop idol Michael Jackson, who died following a lethal dose of propofol on June 25, 2009.
Prosecutors alleged that Dr. Murray administered the dose, while defense attorneys argued the King of Pop was addicted to prescription medication and gave himself the drug that ended his life at the age of 50.
What did the jury say? Find out after the jump.
The Los Angeles jury has found Dr. Conrad Murray guilty of the crime of involuntary manslaughter in the case of Michael Jackson. He will be sentenced on Nov. 29. His request to be released on bail until sentencing was denied because of the seriousness of the crime. The judge specified that Dr. Murray is a danger to the community.
He will be eligible for house arrest when he is sentenced.
