Lego Man Washes Ashore for the THIRD Time – This Time in Florida (Video)
Let’s say you and your family are at the beach doing a little shell hunting or just to frolic in the waves. And then – all of a sudden – you spy a large object. It isn’t a beached whale, it isn’t a shipwrecked vessel, it is a gigantic, huge, bigger than life Lego Man!
Yes, that would be pretty darn cool. This week a Lego Man was found “washed ashore” on the beaches of Siesta Key Village, Florida. The Lego Man was in relatively good condition and a Boing Boing reader who witnessed the appearance of Lego Man said that he seemed to be about eight feet tall and had “no real than you are,” written on his chest and a big number 8.
But this is the first time for Lego Man has appeared…
Three years ago a Lego Man washed ashore on the beach at Zandvoort, Holland and then he was seen in Brighton, England. But who is responsible for these random Lego Man appearances? The name Ego Leonard was on the back. Ego Leonard is a Dutch Artist and he responded about this new sighting that, “I am glad I crossed over. Although it was a hell of a swimm [sic],” the email said. “Nice weather here and friendly people. I think I am gonna stay here for a while. A local sheriff escorted me to my new home.”
So what will happen to Lego Man now? If no one claims him within 90 days he will go home with the man who found him – Jeff Hindman – who said he would probably put it up on eBay.
What would you do if you found a giant Lego Man? Would you keep him or sell him?
