Angry Birds Theme Park in China Attracts Ravenous “Birds” Fans
Are you addicted to Angry Birds? So much so that the idea of a live action Angry Birds would have you hopping on the first flight to China?
Well, maybe not so much, but a new theme park attraction in China does include an Angry Birds game that’s as close to real life as the app will ever get.
The Chinese theme park Window of the World Park opened the unlicensed “Angry Birds” attraction, including oversized slingshots that knock the pigs from a variety of structures.
A park official told Chinese website Gamersky.com, “This [Angry Birds park] serves as a method for people to purge themselves and to gain happiness.”
If you’re looking for something a little closer to home, Worlds of Fun in Kansas City, Missouri reportedly has an Angry Birds-esque attraction and Hersheypark has a game that seems based on the Angry Birds app concept, with Bird stuffed animals for prizes.
We’ve heard of birthday parties including Angry Birds games and even some people setting up their own versions of the popular game app in a live action version.
Have you ever participated in a real life Angry Birds game?
