Prince William and Kate Middleton dolls

Check out the Prince William and Kate Middleton royal wedding dolls in the photos below. Are the William and Kate dolls a little too creepy for children?

Will kids want to play with Prince William and Kate Middleton toys at all?

I’m not a fan of dolls and these seem especially creepy looking, what with their biggish heads… but Kate’s royal wedding dress is pretty darling, I must admit.

Prince William just looks totally goofy, doesn’t he?

I’m betting that royal wedding fans – or fans of all things royal in general – will totally want in on this toy collectible though.

Recreate the royal wedding in your own home with William and Kate dolls – the Prince William and Princess Catherine wedding dolls cost £100 ($160) for the pair. Pretty spendy for kids’ play!

Toy company Arklu’s spokesperson said: ”The instantly recognizable and, some might say, delightfully kitsch wedding dolls pay homage to the stunning best-of-British outfits that so impressed the world when HRH Prince William of Wales married Catherine ‘Kate’ Middleton on April 29, 2011.”

You can pick up the pair from Arklu.com – there’s even a Kate Middleton engagement doll!

Sadly, no Pippa though.

Why do they have giant heads? They’re like bobbleheads. These fall squarely on the side of creepy.

Too bad, ’cause neither one of them are exactly unattractive in real life.

They aren’t something I’d run out to purchase, but I can see why collectors would want them. As far as kids playing with them, I don’t think these were really made to be children’s play things. Yes, the oversized heads do make them look a bit creepy, but I think all dolls crafted to look like specific people look a bit creepy.

What is with prince william’s expression? I don’t think I like these too much.

I think they’re hideous dolls. Definitely not worth the money, and not sure why kids would want to play with them.
