At a time of such division, the hearts of our Nation are warmed by the return of Gabrielle Giffords to Congress. Gabby bravely cast her vote regarding the debt ceiling, for which many are cheering on her comeback.
Just this past January, Arizona Rep. Gabrielle Giffords was involved in a tragic shooting. She has been rehabilitating in Houston all year and it is being said that she will run for re-election, according to the chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee, via The Early Show on CBS.
It was perfect timing, and from the reaction of many including House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi calling her a courageous hero, she seems to be the perfect representative of unity with our government officials and an excellent role model of strength and determination for everyone, especially women and young girls today.
