Casey Anthony Ordered Back to Florida: Will She Be Able to Hide Now?
Oopsy. Someone in the Florida courts made a bit of a boo-boo. Casey Anthony, the most notorious mom in the country, has been ordered back to the place where tragedy and her trial took place – an area where she truly is public enemy number one, Orlando, Florida.
After she was acquitted of killing her two-year-old daughter, Casey Anthony fled Florida as fast as she could. But it turns out she actually was supposed to stay in Florida and be under probation. And not for anything that had to do with Caylee Anthony but rather from pleading guilty to six counts of check fraud. The judge sentenced her to a year probation noting that she would serve it if and when she got out of jail. But probation officers screwed up and didn’t realize the probation was supposed to happen after she got out.
Now the judge has ordered that she must return to Orlando immediately and serve her probation. Will Casey Anthony be able to hide when she comes back?
It will be far harder to keep anonymous in the town that was so riveted by the trial. Reporters, camera crews and the paparazzi will be hunting her down. And the question “where is Casey Anthony” has been on the nation’s mind. But she may not have to stay in Florida for the whole year. Her legal team will be fighting it, trying to prove that she already served her probation while she was behind bars.
But one thing for sure, there will be some avid Anthony watchers around Orlando this week.
