Sorry, Suri. Unusual but not totally original.

Bad news, Gwyneth, Posh and Katie “Kate” Holmes, your kids’ names? Not totally unheard of.

An ancestry website in the U.K., Genes Reunited, surveyed more than 750 million birth records from the last 150 years and found that names like Suri, Cruz and Apple appeared more than once and not just attached to the surnames Cruise, Beckham and Martin.

But one aging rock star/philanthropist and his deceased former partner can claim the top prize for the most original name ever.

The daughter of Bob Geldof and Paula Yates appeared only the one time, according to Genes Reunited, after the birth of their daughter whom they named Fifi Trixibelle. Sort of hard to believe the couple’s other daughters, Peaches Honeyblossom Geldof and Little Pixie Geldof, didn’t further secure him as world’s most original baby namer. Or that credit doesn’t go to Yates, perhaps the genius behind all this naming, since she had another daughter, Heavenly Hiraani Tiger Lily, with INXS frontman Michael Hutchence.

Who would get the prize in the U.S.? Nicholas Cage for his baby Kal-El Superman? Or Mariah Carey for little boy Moroccan?

The most popular baby names in the U.K. for the last century and a half, according to the survey? Mary, Elizabeth, Sarah, Ann, Margaret, Jane, Alice, Hannah, Emma and Ellen for girls; John, William, Thomas, James, George, Robert, Charles, Joseph, Henry and David for boys.

Sounds about right.

I’ve got two of those – Jane and Tom! Classic, elegant and deeply rooted in culture and history. If my Tom had been a girl, he would have been either Margaret or Anne. I hope these names make a comeback on this side of the pond, too. Just so lovely.

Original names?? Those names just show that the parents tried too hard.

Ummmmm… I’m sorry, but doesn’t Pilot Inspektor Lee, son of actor Jason Lee, win out over Fif Trixibelle??? I honestly cannot believe that name has appeared more than once.

Whatevs- these are names surveyed in the UK. Jason Lee is in the US and excluded. Duh.
