How cruel! It’s not the fact she couldn’t get it that’s cruel, but how could you get your kids hopes up and stab him in the face by raging his hopes and on video at that!!

Call Child Protective Services. They can afford a video camera. This is heartless, cruel, and totally offensive. Someone please find that child. We wonder why there are adults in this world who can commit senseless crimes. They’ve been brought up that way. It’s not their fault.

This video always broke my heart. Poor kid. Life CAN suck- but it really sucks when your parents make sure it does form the get-go.

I wish I knew where this family was at. This little boy would have a 360 in his hands…and his mother would have a fat lip and black eye! I’m not typically a violent person, but just reading this made me want to cry. No way could I watch the video. I do everything that I can to make sure my children DON’T feel this way, and she did it on purpose? Sick!

Agreed … I can’t even watch this. Just reading about it broke my heart. It just makes me sick that adults ( u use the term reluctantly) could intentionally fool and hurt a child like that.

It was reported on another site that the family claimed that the child was caught sneeking an early peek at his Christmas presents and they pulled this prank on him to teach him a lesson but that in the end, the child eventually got the Xbox, but it was later reported that the family borrowed the Xbox packaging from someone and that they NEVER intended to give him an Xbox in the first place. It was also said that the family later admitted he never recieved the Xbox. It’s one thing to pull a prank like this, but in the end, give them the real gift, and it’s an entirely different thing to never give the child the desired gift and then further humiliate them by laughing at them and urging them to cry for the camera. What this family did was so cruel and abusive to his spirit, there is no way this child will ever forget that moment, and it those very kind of moments that affect who he will eventually grow up to be. I can’t imagine how that mother lives with herself knowing she mentally and emotionally abused her child for the sake of family entertainment. She’s an immature, disgusting excuse for a parent and I for one believe someone should out her to the public so she can face the same type of humiliation and embarrasment she made her poor child go through.

First you excite him, then humiliate him, then walk away and abandon him in his sadness? I know lots of women who would gladly take your child and love him, encourage him, and treat him with respect if you just blatantly refuse to be a mother. So disgusting! This continues my theory that people should have to prove their ability to care and love before they conceive and raise hopeless children who in return become hopeless adults. :(

I am so appalled how could any parent do that to a child and then just keep rubbing it in seeing he was so distraught that whole family needs a reality check. That poor boy his heart must have sank when he realized his dreSm slipped away and they just keep harping on him ahhhh I swear they r lucky I don’t know where they r cause I would go there with balloons and a big fat fake check saying they won some kind of sweepstakes and then watch them get so excited and celebrate I would even probe them to tell off their boss and quit jobs then tell them it was fake do thru could feel what he felt X like 10.

From Earlier Comments I saw about they were trying to teach him a lesson I understand that part but I think they went a little too far with the laughing they should have told him what he did wrong and taught him a lesson instead of making him cry and laughing about it that is so mean.

Here’s an Idea mom can try a diet and both parents can give up their booze, drugs and smokes for a few years. Maybe they should put their child before themselves for once and not be such cruel A$$ wholes.

It’s amazing how difficult it is for adults to remember the “Golden Rule” we expect all young children to follow…Treat others the way you’d want to be treated. It’s simple. Anything short of that is wrong and sad!!!

I can tell you right now I’d never “get over it.” It is a breach of trust to play such a cruel trick on a child. Parents are supposed to protect children. I hope that he grows up to be a successful, happy person who “repays” his family in kind.

I admit, I have gotten pretty creative with boxes, but mainly because i was too cheap to go out and buy boxes. I had the kids convinced they got a box of tuna helper (it was really the Webkins she wanted) and even used a cat litter box one year for a box, The kids would get mad at first but after awhile it became a family joke! They ever wrapped their dad’s gift in a tampon box last year! However I would never do something this mean! I feel bad for the kid and hope someday he gets his Xbox and all the games he wants to go with it!

That FAT BITCH should be shot for what she did to that little boy. At such a young age that could scar him the rest of his life and he may never want anything to do with Christmas again. Cruel Heartless is that woman. Would serve her right if that kid has a mental brake and kills her at age 15. Baaa Hunbug !
