Chen, Cheng and Kay as drawn by The Rauch Brothers.

The Rauch Brothers have done it again!  Made me cry, that is.  You may remember back in August when I posted their StoryCorps piece, Daddy and Annie, a beautiful film that could turn a heart of stone into sand.  This week, StoryCorps and The Rauch Brothers celebrate Mother’s Day with their latest collaboration, No More Questions.  This lovely short features the voice of Kay Wang, a strong-willed grandmother who was accompanied to a StoryCorps booth by her son Cheng and granddaughter Chen.  This feisty old lady shared a handful of funny anecdotes from her childhood growing up in China to her late-life adventures as a detective at Bloomingdale’s.

At the end of the film, Kay’s son and granddaughter return to StoryCorps after her death to remember her gentler side, which she kept to herself.  Grab a hanky and enjoy this Mother’s Day gift from The Rauch Brothers and StoryCorps:
