Meet Max Page, Star of the Super Bowl Darth Vader Commercial

Max Page, age 6, stars in the hit VW Darth Vader commercial.
Mini Darth Vader, featured in the Volkswagen commercial that ran during the Super Bowl last night, has captured America’s heart. But in real life, 6-year-old Max Page has a congenital heart defect. He spoke about his condition during a press conference at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, saying, “My Mom and Dad and my brother have supported me lots. When I have all my heart surgeries, I get lots of blood draws, so they help me through it lots.”
Clearly, the force is with this kid. He’s been acting in L.A. for about two years and has already scored a recurring role on The Young and the Restless. Perhaps most impressively, he was able to play a thoroughly convincing Darth Vader without ever having seen Star Wars.
