I had I daughter, I’d have told her to buy stock in Apple. But, alas, I had a son.

The best advice my Mother gave us girls is one of two things:
Treat others as you wish to be treated.
You can only be treated as a doormat if you permit it.

Kindness doesn’t cost a thing.

Well,my daughter’s only 11, so it’s premature t say what it may be. But the best advice MY mother gave me was to live with the man I intended to marry BEFORE marrying him. Gave that piece of advice to 20 yr old son and will pass on to the other two as well.

I’ve told my daughter to always remember that life is about experience, not things. Concentrate on what you DO, not what you own.
