What’s the best advice you’ve ever given your daughter?
Last week, Babble published excerpts from Jaime Morrison Curtis’s remarkable new book Prudent Advice for my Daughter (a Life List for Every Woman). Now we want to hear from you about the nuggets of wisdom you’ve passed on to your girls.
We’re giving away 20 copies of Jaime’s heartwarming book to readers who share their best advice in the comments section of Jaime’s article. You have until midnight on Friday to enter. Remember, you must be a Babble Facebook fan to be eligible, so make sure you “like” this page!

Treat others as you wish to be treated.
You can only be treated as a doormat if you permit it.

goddess commented on Oct 14 10 at 6:10 pmWell,my daughter’s only 11, so it’s premature t say what it may be. But the best advice MY mother gave me was to live with the man I intended to marry BEFORE marrying him. Gave that piece of advice to 20 yr old son and will pass on to the other two as well.
