Would You Ask Twitter to Name Your Baby?
Twitter is a great way to self-promote, share information, connect with new friends, and network. But is it a good place to get baby name ideas?
New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees thinks so. Today, he asked the twitterverse for helping naming his 2nd son.
“My wife is due any day now with baby boy #2. We have a few names picked out but haven’t decided yet. Looking for “b” names. Suggestions? #fb,” he tweeted from his Twitter account @drewbrees.
Nola.com said that Brees even provided some guidelines saying, “We are looking for boy names starting with a “b” that are uncommon. Not in most baby name books. Thanks to all for any ideas #fb.”
I don’t think tweeting for name suggestions is such a bad idea. Already, Brees has gotten a big response to his request.
Here are some of the names his Twitter followers have come up with some original ones: Braden, Barclay, Beau, Bennett, Branson, Bullet, Brando, Bede, Benton, Bowen, Braylon, Boaz and Beckett.
Let’s hope whatever name he and his wife pick, it doesn’t qualify for the list of Weirdest Celebrity Baby Names.
Do you have any name suggestions for Brees? And would you ask Twitter to help you come up with a baby name?

Baby Naming–Old Story New Twist
The most important gift parents can bestow on their child is the name they assign at birth which makes the name “priceless.” Doesn’t your baby deserve a priceless gift for life–one that took you great care and thought to give? What’s “key” is that once parents “ink” their child’s name and birthdate on a birth certificate, their child’s journey begins.
We are very passionate about educating parents on the importance of baby naming and have written a book entitled, What Every Parent-to-be Should Know About Baby Naming: The Hidden Truth and How It Will Affect Your Baby! This ebook is posted under FREE Resources for you to download and we highly suggest that you read it, keeping an open mind to progress. Chaldean Numerology is the most effective personal assessment tool on the market that can provide exact laser-focused information on “testing” of baby names by deciphering the code that lies hidden within every name assigned at birth. This one-of-a-kind product is only offered through us.
The name parents choose reveals their child’s personal characteristics/traits while the birthdate reveals his/her development areas. The naming convention drives the child’s behavioral patterns and parents can influence what they would like to bestow on their child with the name they ink on a birth certificate.
Why not test the name prior to assigning it?
