Bacon-Flavored Baby Formula, And Other Similac Alternatives
With the Similac recall 2010 well underway, parents are scrambling to find alternatives to feed their babies.
Here’s a (hopefully fictional) option: bacon-flavored baby formula. These guys sell bacon-flavored everything. We’re hoping the baby formula is a joke, but who knows? Beats feeding your kid bug parts.
Here are a few other humorous (and plausible) alternative infant foods:
- Chocolate-flavored formula: oh, I wish I were joking about this one. Anyone remember the whole “chocolate infant formula” incident? Not as bad as bug parts, but still pretty shameful.
- Beer: My baby’s first food after breastmilk. I told my dad at Thanksgiving that he could give her the first taste of solid food, and he reached over and gave her a sip of his beer. She loved it!
- Bugs: Babies love to put things in their mouths. Why waste money on expensive infant formula’s when there’s plenty of bugs just crawling down the street for free?
and a serious one:
- Breastmilk: If you’re unable to breastfeed, you may be able to get donor milk for your baby through a milk bank. Nothing beats human milk when it comes to feeding human babies.
What are you feeding your baby since the Similac recall?
