50 Best Recipes for Moms
Got plans for dinner? How about grilled fajitas with chili and chocolate pecan pie bars for dessert?
No, we’re not going out to eat. These are all tasty goodies you can whip up yourself in no time. Believe me, if I can cook, so can you.
Until fairly recently, I was a hazard in the kitchen. I burned mac and cheese and couldn’t even manage to cut a bagel without a trip to the E.R. But the desire to serve my kids a homemade family dinner has inspired me to keep practicing. I’m by no means a competent cook, but I can at least whip up an edible dinner a few nights a week. And I haven’t set off a fire alarm once this week!
I rely on a couple of trusty cookbooks to guide me, but mostly, I get my inspiration online from other mothers. They’ve tested out recipes and know what works for busy families (with picky eaters).
For example, just this week, Babble’s Family Kitchen bloggers came up with “the easiest, healthiest, most indulgent” and more recipes guaranteed to get you out of the “What’s for Dinner?” rut.
