Save Your Home Pregnancy Test – In Style!
Time to ‘fess up, ladies. How many of you saved your positive pregnancy tests?
I’ll raise my own hand on this one. I’ve got both of mine moldering in time capsules from my girls’ births. Gross, I know. It’s a stick full of old pee. Ew. But I can’t bring myself to part with the disgusting things.
Apparently, I’m not alone. According to a probably not all that scientific poll conducted by pregnancy test manufacturer e.p.t., 67% of mamas save their positive pregnancy test.
For all you gals who did, or will, e.p.t. has created a cute little keepsake pouch for them. I am not even joking.
The pouch is purple, adorable, and doubtless more sanitary than displaying it on a “baby altar” along with your baby-to-be’s first sonogram, little hats and “birth art” from the hippie dippie childbirth class you took. Not that, ahem, I’d know anything about that.
The keepsake case is available with a mail-in proof-of-purchase from an e.p.t. pregnancy test. So if you’re trying to conceive now, and think you might want one, hold on to that cardboard box. I had no idea anyone still did the proof-of-purchase thing. Maybe next month they’ll offer a decoder ring that will tell your baby’s sex.
