Cynthia Rowley Designs Pampers
Denim diapers are nice, but no self-respecting baby is going to crawl around in fake jeans every single day. The well-dressed infant likes to mix things up a bit and play with color and pattern, right?
Maybe not. But if you’ve got a baby fashionista in your house, you’ll be excited to know that designer Cynthia Rowley has teamed up with Pampers to create a line of stylish diapers for boys and girls.
Rowley, a mom herself, says that since diapers are the first piece of clothing a baby will wear, they should be special. And special they are. Featuring madras, stripes and printed ruffles, these designer diapers are nothing short of adorable.
I know a lot of people scoff at the idea that a baby’s butt needs to be covered in style, but I am not one of those people. I like those denim diapers and I like these as well. What about you? The Cynthia Rowley Pampers collection will be available mid-July at Target. Will you buy?

Barbecue Dangers You Didn't Know Existed | Strollerderby commented on Jul 01 10 at 1:01 pmGretchen Powers commented on Jul 01 10 at 10:48 amHa ha…more gender pigeonholing…and, these disposable companies now trying to make cute diapers (competing with the myriad already super-cute cloth varieties) strike me as the same as when Miller Brewing Company and other huge beer corps starts making their faux craft beers to “compete” with the true craft beers. I also have to laugh at this gem “”It’s the first piece of clothing your baby will ever wear, and it should be special.” So special you will throw it away…

PlumbLucky commented on Jul 01 10 at 11:43 amSince its Pampers, I was wondering how much of this may have been some sort of damage control re: the Drymax mess and how Pampers is basically pigeonholing anyone who complains as a whining mommyblogger (their words, NOT mine).
I’ll stick with cloth, thanx.
Ellen commented on Jul 01 10 at 11:47 amUm, I totally love them! Definitely want some for my nugget.
Allison commented on Jul 01 10 at 3:03 pmAnd they’ve added a six dollar “stupid tax” to each box of these designer diapers. Suckers!
Kat commented on Jul 01 10 at 5:44 pmnope, I just out clothes over DD’s diapers anyway, why would I pay extra for hype???
Snarky Mama commented on Jul 02 10 at 1:27 amWe do cloth. Haven’t bought diapers in 2 years.
Amy commented on Jul 02 10 at 9:02 amMy, won’t the landfills be colorfull for the next billion years?
ClothMama commented on Jul 23 10 at 1:45 pmSeriously…just use (and re-use) cloth diapers…they are already “cute and special”
Jen commented on Aug 02 10 at 6:02 pmI saw these. They are way expensive and I always cover my daughter’s diapers anyways…I would not buy.
ldteacher commented on Aug 09 10 at 1:39 amI just saw these at Target and just rolled my eyes. Hubby kept saying, “just walk away” What a waste of resources! If you want cute dipes, get cloth ones. She would be more credible if she designed cloth diapers. Argh! What a waste-yes I said it again!
