Kardashian Sisters Battle Over Breastfeeding
Reality TV star Kim Kardashian may be repulsed by the sight of a woman breastfeeding in public, but her sister Kourtney thinks nothing of pumping her breasts on TV.
FameCrawler reports that Kourtney pumped her breasts while tipsy and then tossed the breast milk at her sister Khloe on their show “Kourtney & Khloe Take Miami.”
Kourtney said she had to dump her expressed milk since it showed traces of alcohol.“This has alcohol in it so it’s for you,” Kourtney joked as she threw it at her sister.
Wonder what Kim thinks about the spectacle. Kim recently created an online outroar when she tweeted “EWW!” after spotting a woman breastfeeding at a restaurant. After critics slammed her for not supporting a woman’s right to breastfeed in public, Kim said that what really bugged her was that the woman was changing the kid’s diaper at the table. She sent a follow-up tweet: “My sister breast feeds! Its a natural beautiful thing, there’s nothing wrong w it, but she covers herself, not w her boobs exposed.”
Since when has Kim, who has posed for Playboy, been concerned about exposing her breasts? Seems like a double standard to me. It’s okay to expose your breasts for money, but not to feed your baby?
What do you think Kim has to say about Kourtney pumping on TV? Take a look at the video below.

Baltimore Mom commented on Jun 21 10 at 2:44 pmRight….so it’s not okay to expose your breasts to feed your child, but it’s okay to expose them in a magazine for the whole world to see? Give me a break.
Susan B-K commented on Jun 21 10 at 4:16 pmYeah, it’s fine to sexualize them, but when it comes to something that is natural, that’s gross. Kim is just ignorant. When she has her own kids, I hope she grows up a little.
Jenny commented on Jun 21 10 at 4:48 pmThere’s no need to “pump & dump”, very little alcohol passes into breastmilk, as long as you’re not totally wasted it should be fine to feed your baby. The bottom line is; if you’re too drunk to look after your baby, you’re too drunk to nurse!
Jenny commented on Jun 21 10 at 4:52 pmAs for those cover things people wear for “discrete” nursing, WTF?? I’m not ashamed to feed my baby, I never flashed my boobs whilst I did it but I wouldn’t wear a ridiculous bib thing either. No. Way.
If breastfeeding in public offends you, feel free to put a blanket on *your* head.
However, I wouldn’t change a diaper at the table though. That IS gross.
Allie commented on Jun 21 10 at 10:09 pmIf you read what she tweeted, it was “EWW Im at lunch, the woman at the table next 2 me is breast feeding her baby with no coverup then puts baby on the table and changes her diaper” … I’m all for being able to feed your baby in public, but can we at least agree that it’s inappropriate to do it at the ACTUAL table? And to the argument that “oh, but its natural! It’s ok to do it at the table!”: Sex is natural too, but I’d be pissed if someone was getting their freak on at the next table while I’m trying to eat my lunch. And just because she showed her in boobs in Playboy doesn’t somehow make her opinion about breastfeeding in public less valid; if anything, I’d say that at least Playboy is a more appropriate forum for boobs than the middle of a restaurant because you sign off on seeing boobs when you crack it open.
paulabernstein commented on Jun 21 10 at 10:24 pmI’m certainly grossed out by the idea of changing a baby’s diaper on the table, but I don’t think it’s inappropriate in the least to breastfeed at the table. Where is she supposed to feed her baby?
Voice of Reason commented on Jun 21 10 at 11:59 pmTables are the perfect place to breastfeed a baby because they can help maintain a little discretion for the nursing mother, if that’s what she wants. Anywhere else leaves the mum and the baby more out it the open. Plus, it’s lunch, so wouldn’t it be weird to have it anywhere other than the table when in a restaurant?
Changing a diaper on any table at which people eat (especially in a public place where others are also eating) is nothing short of disgusting and unhealthy.
Kim K isn’t someone whose opinion I’d get too worked up about, though! After all, isn’t it considered bad manners to be tweeting while seated at a table in a restaurant?!
anon commented on Jun 22 10 at 12:20 amAllie, what is so scary about seeing “boobs”? Especially in the context of feeding an infant? Grow up, please.
anon commented on Jun 22 10 at 12:22 amsomewhere, some creepy guy is jerking off to that kardashian scene…ewwwwwww
PlumbLucky commented on Jun 22 10 at 8:00 amUm, a baby eating at a table? I fail to see the problem. People don’t normally have sex on tables (well, at least we don’t hear about it very often) but they do eat meals at tables.
Now changing a diaper at a table? Unsanitary and pretty gross indeed!
Allie commented on Jun 22 10 at 9:06 pmAnon: Just because I have a different opinion than you doesn’t mean I need to “grow up”. As I already stated, I don’t have a problem with people breastfeeding in public; I just don’t think it’s appropriate to do at a restaurant table. Breastfeeding is an intimate act; it can make people uncomfortable. In a park or a mall? Fine, if people are uncomfortable they can leave. In a restaurant? I think it would be appropriate to get up and do it elsewhere. I choose to have a child and I choose to bring that child to a restaurant; it’s not fair to force my decisions on unwilling participants.
anon commented on Jun 22 10 at 10:33 pmYou don’t have to look…and honestly, it’s not really that “intimate”it’s feeding a baby. If it makes people uncomfortable, that’s kind of their hang up. You call breasts “boobs”…you do need to grow up, honey.
Siobhan commented on Jun 24 10 at 2:44 pmI agree, the table is a perfectly acceptable place to feed a baby. I don’t know what the fuss is, it’s not like women are lifting their shirts above their heads mardi gra style to nurse. Yes, sometimes the baby will fuss and move and there might be a slight nip slip but it generally is re-covered fairly quickly. If you are seeing the woman’s breast it probably means you are staring, in which case it certainly isn’t the breastfeeding mother and/or infant who is at fault.
Sasha commented on Jun 29 10 at 4:04 amComments I,even though a 28 yrs old,a woman and of child-bearing age..i do feel slighly awkward around a breastfeeding woman. However,i just avert my eyes, let the mother carry on with her task without letting her feel watched.I think all those who sit and say “ewww ” would realise what it’s like if they were to be mom of an infant out in public, and when u got to breastfeed and not in a position to run away from others each time.As for Kim Kardashian saying anything, who cares!
