Parents Connect Behind Haiti Relief Bid

There are only a few more hours to go for the amazing online auction that is “To Haiti with Love,” which appears to be on its way to raising thousands of dollars for impoverished street children in the earthquake-ravaged country.
Organized by Rene Joshi Sims of Fruityfantasia and Kate Ingliss of Sweet|Salty, the online event is auctioning off everything from posh vacations to amazing photographs to some obnoxiously adorable wares. The talent that has come out for this event is just mind-blowing, and I’ve noticed that a fair number of these artists are parents as well — fueled, like me, by the desire to help in some small way those often without a helping hand.
The auction closes at midnight Monday, so there’s still time to peruse the scores of goods and find a great deal that will help a worthy cause. I hope you’ll take a look. I’ve discovered some incredible artists through this project, and I know you will too.
