Joe Biden’s Mom Dies
Back during the Democratic National Convention in 2008, Joe Biden gave an passionate, often teary-eyed speech that evoked the strength and virtue of his mother.
”My mother’s creed is the American creed,” he said, “No one is better than you. Everyone is your equal, and everyone is equal to you…We learned the dignity of work, and we were told that anyone can make it if they just try hard enough.”
The woman who played the most influential role in Joe Biden’s life, his mother Catherine Biden, passed away at the age of 92.
Biden’s father passed away in 2002. Biden’s mother recently fell ill and died surrounded by family and loved one, according to a release from the Vice President.
While loss of any kind is tragic, and can only hope my parents make it into their 90′s.
