Drunken 4-Year-Old Steals Christmas Presents – w/Video
With a beer in hand, and possibly a surely attitude, 4-year-old Hayden Wright escaped his home, wandered the streets, then broke into the neighbors house to steal their Christmas presents.
Hayden’s mom, 21-year-old April, says she doesn’t know how the boy got beer and got out but she’s just glad he’s okay and says it won’t happen again.
It gets stranger.
Police say Hayden was found wandering the streets in a little girl’s dress, one of the 5 presents the boy stole.
According to the mom, the family’s house is fully baby proofed but the child still found away to bust the safety locks. Then he found aforementioned hooch in a cooler left outside.
“He runs away trying to find his father,” the mother said. “He wants to get in trouble so he can go to jail because that’s where his daddy is.”
Can you laugh and cry at the same time?
The boy was treated for alcohol consumption and CPS says the boy will remain with the mother.
“Kids do things like this and it’s out of your control, you can do the best you can as a mother, everyone makes mistakes, it was an honest mistake,” she said.
