They were “apparently mislabeled.” What did the label say? “Erotica”? “Ear, Nose and Throat”? “Eagles, Philadelphia”?

President Obama is on the side of the blind in a copyright dispute regarding “cross-border distribution of special-format reading materials” for the vision-impaired. (Wired)

Howard Dean, the former Democratic Party chairman, former Presidential candidate, and guy who screamed the names of various states, does not want the current health care bill to pass. Dean says that the bill, “further empowers private insurers at the expense of consumer choice.” Not sure if anyone cares what he thinks, but maybe some do. (AP)

Police in Copenhagen hit protesters with pepper spray. Nice. And by “nice” I mean “not nice at all.” (L.A. Times)

Ben Bernake is Time Magazine’s person of the year? Really? They could have given it to Usain Bolt, which wouldn’t really have made any sense but I would have liked it better. (MSNBC)
