Child Protection Agency investigating Tiger Woods’ incident
Florida’s Department of Children and Families is pursuing an investigation into the possibility that Tiger Woods and his wife Elin Nordegren were involved in a domestic dispute. RadarOnline has obtained exclusive information from a police document detailing the investigation and DCF’s attempt to visit Woods’ home.
The information, which comes from police dispatch notes, reveals the investigation focuses specifically on domestic violence between Woods and his wife taking place in front of their children. The law enforcement codes used on the dispatch notes also indicate that a weapon was involved and a RadarOnline source close to the situation identified the weapon as a golf club.
According to the web-site DCF has attempted to talk to Woods and his wife, but they’ve been unable to get in contact with them. Police notes confirm that DCF asked police for assistance gaining admittance to Woods’ gated community.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Department told RadarOnline that deputies met with DCF, but the department didn’t share any details regarding the case.
By state law DCF isn’t allowed to confirm open cases, but RadarOnline reports that a source close to the situation has confirmed that the case is indeed open.
DCF gets involved in possible domestic violence cases to assess the home environment for the well-being of the children living in the house.
