Jilted Wife Tries to Trick Husband’s Pregnant Mistress Into Miscarrying (Updated)
A Brooklyn woman allegedly tricked her husband’s pregnant mistress into taking a drug that’s known to cause miscarriage in pregnant women, hoping to force the woman to lose her baby.
Instead of miscarrying the baby, however, the woman went into early labor. Her baby boy was born at 28 weeks gestation, and doctors say he has a 95 percent chance of survival.
What’s even more amazing than this woman’s cold, cold heart, however, is the level of planning she put into her crime.
Crimes like this are usually crimes of passion — they happen in the heat of the moment. But Keisha Jones, 38, put plenty of time and care into her plan. First, she stole a prescription pad and forged a doctor’s signature to fill a prescription for Cytotec, a drug that’s known to cause miscarriage in pregnant women.
She left the script waiting at the pharmacy, then she used a device that disguised her voice to call Monique Hunter, 25. Jones pretended to be a nurse from Hunter’s doctor’s office and left a message saying that she that if she didn’t fill the script and take the pill, Hunter’s baby would be born with Down’s syndrome.
That phone call should have set of alarm bell’s in Hunter’s head, but it didn’t. She took the pill a week later and went into early labor.
Now the biggest problem Jones faces isn’t a broken and betrayed heart, it’s possible charges of attempted abortion, assault, and forgery … to name a few.
UPDATE:
Police are now saying that Jones may have tried again to get to the baby, after he was born. An unidentified man brought two bottles to the NICU unit where Hunter’s baby was being cared for and gave nurses two bottles of what he identified as breast milk, telling them that the baby’s mother had asked them to feed it to Hunger’s child. The hospital staff called the police.
Police also report that Jones used a sophisticated technique called “spoofing” to make it look like her phone call was actually coming from Hunter’s doctor’s office.

The level of malice is jaw-dropping. I can understand having beef with “the other woman,” but attempting to harm the child is just… wow.
