It’s National Cookie Day!
Is there anything that will get your kid’s attention faster than the word “cookie?” Try it.
See what I mean? So I’m going to go out on a limb and decree today kid’s day. Because although Christmas or Hanukkah may be all kid-friendly, National Cookie Day is far and away the best celebration of childhood.
Want more proof? National Cookie Day gets its own entry in the Muppets Wiki, with a picture of none other than King of the Day Cookie Monster (see picture above for his royal look).
Of course Cookie Monster cut back a few years ago in face of childhood obesity, and so have a lot of American parents. Are there cookies in your house right now?
