Crazy Elf Arrested Over Dynamite Hoax
Sometimes you just have to feel for mall Santas. Forced to sit on their snowy throne all day, while endless parades of whining, kicking, screaming toddlers are forced into their laps. I imagine it gets old.
Still, the mall santa in Morrow, Georgia, must have found it a little disconcerting when a 45-year-old man dressed in an elf costume — his own costume, by the way, not the mall’s — waited in line with all the kids only to get his turn on santa’s lap and announce that he had a bag full of dynamite.
Merry Christmas, indeed.
There’s no reason yet for why William C. Caldwell II decided to take this approach to announce to the world that he is, in fact, truly crazy. The mall was evacuated. Kids probably screamed. But, thankfully, santa probably got some much needed rest time. Still, it makes me wonder how those parents waiting in line explained to their kids about santa’s sudden absence?
