images3 They Say: Hollering At Your Kids Is Bad...For Some Of ThemYelling at your shy kid can produce an aggressive, rule-breaking truant.  So says the Journal of Child Psychology and Psychiatry.  In a study published in an upcoming issue, children who are “introverted, non-conscientious, non-benevolent or imaginative” are deeply affected by overreactive parenting styles.

On the flip side, unimaginative, giving kids that are the life of the party and regularly get their homework done are barely affected at all by Mom’s angry yelps or criticisms.

I dunno.  Seems to me that lots of criticism and yelling is not good for ANY kid.  What do you think?
